Rotary Trainer is dedicated to the proposition that all Rotarians are heroes, fighting for a better world. To end hunger, poverty, disease and hardship for all peoples and to promote better understanding and peace.
In a world of more than 7 billion people. It is amazing that the spirit of altruism finds expression only in a few. Even if we take Rotary’s global membership of 1.2 million and multiply that by 50 (and that’s very optimistic), that’s only 600 million, less than one tenth of the human population. There is little doubt that the odds are stacked against us. But we must prevail, regardless.
Proudly a Rotarian since 1990 – Dr Siva Ananthan has served as President (RC Damansara 1998-1999). In D3300 he has served as Deputy District Trainer (twice), Assistant Governor, GDL, Training Team Member, Membership Development Chairman, Awards and Recognition Chairman, Literacy Task Force Coordinator, District Incorporation Committee Member and OC for many District Events and Seminars. Currently, he is a member of RC Brickfields (since 2001).
Dr Siva believes strongly in what Mahatma Gandhi once said,
“The fragrance always remains on the hand that gives the rose.”
